The programs and clinics offered by the Bernards Township Health Department promote disease prevention and early detection and treatment of chronic diseases such as Obesity, Heart Disease, Hypertension, Cancer, and Diabetes. We design and conduct these health prevention programs to make them convenient and available to our residents.
Child Health Clinics: Check ups encompassing services for children 0-18 including immunizations, well-baby checkups, vision and hearing checks, lead screening, growth and development assessment, nutrition counseling and physicals. Childhood immunization program in conjunction with the NJ Vaccines for Children program. Held in various local venues each month conducted by the the Community Visiting Nurse Association.
