The programs and clinics offered by the Bernards Township Health Department promote disease prevention and early detection and treatment of chronic diseases such as Obesity, Heart Disease, Hypertension, Cancer, and Diabetes. We design and conduct these health prevention programs to make them convenient and available to our residents.

Understanding Your Blood Test Results
Radon Detection Program: The Bernards Township Health Department is pleased to announce the availability of radon detection canisters for residents of Bernards Township, Bernardsville Borough, Chester Borough, Mendham Borough, and Peapack and Gladstone Borough. To obtain your radon canister, please visit the Bernards Township Health Department at 262 South Finley Ave, Basking Ridge during the hours of 8:30am – 4:30pm while supplies available.
Skin Cancer Screening: Program held in July for early detection of skin cancer with confidential exams by a board-certified dermatologist.
Seasonal Influenza: Clinics held in September and October providing Seasonal Flu shots.
